Prepped Transcribe pilot version - terms & conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Prepped Transcribe macOS application (“App”).
The App is an initiative of, published and operated by Achmea Services N.V. acting on behalf of Achmea Innovation Hub, externally known and referred to as Achmea Impact Ventures (“we”, “us”).
This is a limited pilot with a small number of test users. Features, access or availability may change throughout the pilot.
Access and Account Creation
To use the App, you must create an account using your email address.
Authentication is handled through Supabase, hosted in the EU.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
Functionality
The App provides transcription and note-creation features. All audio, transcripts and meeting content are processed locally on your device.
No transcription data is uploaded to Achmea Impact Ventures or Weiss Consulting.
You may optionally connect your own external AI model via an API key. In that case, data flows directly between your device and the provider you select. We do not mediate, store, or access those interactions.
The App uses the following open-source on-device models:
Meta LLAMA 3.2 3B Instruct
FluidAudio by FluidInference (licensed under the Apache License 2.0)
NVIDIA Parakeet TDT-0.6b v3 (CoreML)
By using the App, you agree to comply with any applicable third-party licenses for these components. These models run entirely on-device.
We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability of transcripts or AI-generated content.
Trial Period and Subscription
You receive a 14-day free trial starting on the date of registration.
Continued access after the trial requires an active paid subscription.
Subscriptions are processed via Stripe, an independent payment processor.
Invoices may be issued by Achmea Impact Ventures.
You agree that Stripe will automatically charge your selected payment method at the set monthly price unless you cancel beforehand.
User Responsibilities
You remain fully responsible for:
Complying with all applicable laws when recording or transcribing audio.
Obtaining any necessary consent from meeting participants.
Ensuring lawful use of any third-party AI provider you connect via your own API key.
The security of your device and data stored locally on it.
External Services
The App integrates with:
Supabase Inc. (EU-hosted infrastructure) for authentication
Stripe Payments Europe Limited for payments and subscription management
Google Ireland Limited (GA4) for anonymised usage metrics
We are not responsible for the availability, security, or data handling practices of these third-party services.
Intellectual Property
All rights in the App remain with Achmea Impact Ventures or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer the App.
Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “as is” during the pilot phase.
We exclude all warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
We accept no liability for any actions or outputs produced by third-party AI providers connected by you.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time during the pilot.
You may stop using the App at any time.
Ending a subscription will stop future billing.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Dutch law.
Any disputes will be submitted to the competent courts (rechtbank Midden-Nederland) in the Netherlands.
